Today’s post is bitter sweet… We have been so blessed to have had Laura blogging with us for the last couple of years and are going to miss her terribly as she goes off to prepare for the arrival of her baby girl. We can’t thank you enough Laura for your creativity, charm, personality and love of events and design that you have brought to life through the blog. You sure will be missed!! We hope we will be able to persuade you to come back now and again as a guest to fill us in on all things mommy and baby once your little bundle arrives. And today as a parting post we are so excited to share Laura’s inspiration for baby L’s nursery!
Taking a little break from the wedding world inspiration for a sneaky little announcement: I (Laura) have a little girl on the way due in late March! As I type this post the little munchkin is bebopping around, shaking the laptop that is resting on my lap. I’m completely overjoyed, and a bit overwhelmed, and can’t wait to meet our little girl in a couple months. I’m in the depths of nursery planning and design so I thought I would share a little inspiration for Baby L’s nursery – corals, creams, mints, and gold mixing with some rustic wood touches, hopefully creating a feminine space without going too girly… we’ll see how well I stick to that plan!
Because of this huge addition on the way, I am so sad to say I’ll be leaving this amazing blog and True Event to concentrate on our little family. I’ve had such a ball getting to know the ladies of True Event and sharing all of the gorgeous events and weddings from this crazy talented team. I can not wait to see what 2014 has in store for this group of gals and will be following True Event every step of the way! Thanks so much for letting me share my favorite shoes, weddings and inspiration with you for the last two years!
xoxo, Laura
