Wine of the Week:
This dry, charming white is ripe with traces of guava, peach and pineapple. This Sauvignon Blanc is blended with 7% Semillon, as a nod to the traditional French Bordeaux blanc style. It has intense aromas of sweet citrus fruit and minerals, and the Semillon adds roundness on the palate. This light, fresh Sauvignon Blanc is deliciously complex and finishes with grassy and mineral notes. Drink with fresh vegetable salads, seafood and appetizers. The winery practices sustainable viticulture and will be certified organic in 2011.
