Coffee Talk Monday…Bridal Market!

October 22, 2012

New York is what dreams are made of! And the parties we attended last Monday during Bridal Market were dream worthy.   We look forward every year to Bridal Market where we are able to refresh ourselves with new ideas, see the latest bridal trends and fashion, and catch up with old and new industry friends.  And we especially look forward to two of the hottest parties in the city hosted by Martha Stewart Weddings and The Knot.

The Team at Martha Stewart Weddings sure does know how to throw a party! Pulling in some of the latest and greatest vendors in the industry for an evening of great food, drinks, and trends in the bridal market it is always such a blast!  And for the first time, this year there was a live wedding at the beginning of the event conducted by Martha Stewart and Darcey Miller, of the most adorable couple, click here to see the video and to learn more about them and their cause click here.

After the Martha Stewart party we headed uptown to The Knot’s Gala hosted at the New York City Public Library.  Annie Lee of Daughter of Design and David Beahm really outdid themselves this year with the design/decor of the event, and our friends at Taylor Creative provided gorgeous vignettes of furniture, and the adorable ladies at East Six  designed all of the paper accents that were absolutely stunning! Elan Artists provided entertainment for both parties, which is always the highlight of any event, with some of the most amazing musical talent performing throughout the night, they rocked it!  It was also fun to see Radish Catering at the Knot’s Gala with a fun presentation of food and cocktails, including a St. Germain cocktail station.  It truly was a magical evening.

This week for Wedding Wednesday we will recap some of the latest trends that hit the runway during bridal market, lots of gorgeous designs for next year for brides to be!  But for now here is a look at our night out in NYC!
